@Green Divide: There is an ampsim effect on cubase 5 I have used to get the distortion effects, i used different presets on that and tweaked them a little, I used a different type of distortion for the song itself and the vocal, On the vocal there was another effect, can't remember what its called but it makes your voice sound like you're singing through a FM radio receiver so on the distorted parts of the vocal there are two layer of vocals both with different effects on, i'd better be careful I'm actually starting to sound like i know stuff haha
