Sascha Yamashita, aka the sly virus, hails from Vancouver, BC and has been Dj’ing since 2004. Starting his DJ’ing career spinning original 80’s music on 12” maxi-singles, the sly virus flawlessly blends indie dance/nu disco & deep house with subtle nuances of eighties flavor at a tempo ranging between 100 to 123.

Building on his DJ career he formed S&S Productions and with a series of highly revered and successful parties spanning 8 years, has rocked the Vancouver underground music scene.
Both S&S Productions and the sly virus has attracted a dedicated fan base and hosted some of the lower mainland’s best DJ talent at quality, underground parties.

In 2012, S&S Productions teamed up with Move Together Events & East Van Digital to successfully take their parties to a whole new level of production and talent!

Currently the sly virus plays for a number of different promoters in nightclubs, festivals and parties throughout the lower mainland and BC interior. He has played alongside the best in the province, to every type of crowd. The sly virus is guaranteed to please with his distinct combination of music and mixing - watch out!
