Need a gift for a gifted musician?
I'm a Jamaican musician/producer currently based in Toronto. I've been playing shows since my early teens and I have extensive experience as a lead guitarist and bassist live and in the studio.
Currently, I'm working as a session player and producing music in downtown Toronto, as well as gigging in and around the city. I work with local and international acts, mostly Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, Pop etc. and I own and operate a private recording suite. Presently, I produced LJX's 'Brighter Days' album which has been nominated for the 2011 Juno for Reggae Recording of the Year and has won the Irie Music award in the same category. I produce music with Ray 'Sunray' Grennan, son of legendary reggae drummer Winston Grennan and also work with King Culture Records who will be releasing an album I co-produced in early 2012 featuring many of my instrumentals not heard before.
Some of my professional experience includes the "How Can I be Down" tour, Montreux Jazz Festival, Blue Balls Festival, Caribana, Ottawa Reggae Festival, NXNE and I've performed and/or recorded with Ska legend Derrick Morgan, Errol "The Mighty" Organs, King Culture, Snow, Tanya Mullings, Basil Gayle, CBC Studios, Humble, Farenheit, Carl Henry and many other talented people.
Currently, I am available for local gigs, sessions and touring. To all those passing through here, good vibes to you.
