About

Producer and DJ The Seed Organization began his career in the early 1990's in Central Canada when he felt the pull of heavy bass' gravity and discovered reggae music. After returning home from a trip to London's Brixton district inspired by its heavyweight sounds, he began to amass the equipment for his own studio. The Green Room, the studio which was to become part of his signature sound, was outfitted with aging transistor and vacuum tube gear and analogue synthesizers to best capture the digital reggae and dubwise sounds. The Seed Organization's productions are characterized by fat bass lines as well as a blend of live instrumentation. His latest riddims have emerged from the studio featuring voicings by some of reggae's finest singers and deejays. He has collaborated with artists such as Richie Phoe, Rise Ashen, The Big Toe's Hi-Fi, Chronic Sonata and Aiwa and performed alongside Dubmatix, The Herbalizer, Amon Tobin, DJ Ghostbeard and Desmond Williams. He co-hosts Winnipeg's longest running urban electronic radio program, CKUW 95.9fm's Quadrafunk. Watch out for his latest riddims dropping in digital and vinyl.
