Not sure how I feel about the vocal sample here, now that I think about it, it sounds like the perfect place for a short little piece of lyrics, maybe just a bit of poetry set to a melody (for female voice), or a short rap section (for male voice).

Love it all coming together. Smoothio. Lots going on. That high riff - yeah. Surely hear the heavy reggae influence in the drum, bass and skank guitar. Like how it falls into the typically smooth atmospherics of the Observer stylie. Love it. What's next on this?

    2. The Observer on November 18, 2009 16:42

really tight kicks - like the delay on the snares too - the 4/4 ish sounding bassline is great over the breaky beat too

    2. The Observer on November 10, 2009 23:11

@raytrace: The delay on the snare is also giving problems ,the end part isn as clean as i wanted it to be I am even overthinking a new session ,but overall yes good stuff thx dude

cool- i'm hearing those faint vocal elements (if that's what they are). nice chillout feel to the music with some mystery added by the jfk speech.

@mostlyfodder: Cool ;-) thx no actualy they are some pads I used from my "hero" the Omnisphere lil tweaking and filtering gave it that vocal like effect The speech is very important it could be well the reason why he got killed showing the powers behind the throne Thx for your ears Greg

I think you are on to something really good with this track. I really like the way it starts to feel like a happy summer rave tune before the discord changes and warps that mood. The change after the breakdown is interesting but seems a little out of place. All in all the space and simplicity of the music juxtaposed with those words from jfk have a memorable effect. I look forward to hearing where this one ends up.
