This is the new single from Foster the People, "Pumped Up Kicks." They got a ton of dope remixes including this one by The Knocks. Another great song by them is Helena Beat, which I was going to originally include in this mix but I liked Pumped Up's dancey uptempo vibe.

Gotta be honest, this cut is pretty strange lol. Mayer Hawthorne switched it up!!! That's why I liked it and really wanted it in the mix. I like when artists step outside their comfort zone. Good stuff.

How perfect is it that Skyler Grey works so closely with Em and her chorus ends with "Lose myself," no brainer here folks... Had to bring back the classic "Lose Yourself." Anyone coming up in the underground Hip Hop scene can feel this song, its timeless. If you werent there, you probably don't get it. I thought Glitch Mob's "Drive It Like You Stole It" matched the intensity of the vocals. Epic blend.

Welcome KickDrummers... to Lollapalooza 2011! Well... we're there in spirit. Just close your eyes and turn on the mix... BAM! You're right there, front row. Anyway, kicking this off with Ryan Leslie, The Glory. It has a nice epic intro feel plus he singles out all the other festivals by name in his verse (sides Lolla obviously!). He's also one of the first performing acts at the show! The perfect intro.
