Another experiment. This time messing about with field recordings from the excellent London Soundscapes podcast. It's a great recording all on it's own so I've left it largely untouched and just mixed in samples and effects from That Fear Inside Me (Version 1)
Oh and grab some headphones so the proper HD effect!
Here are the original field recording notes:
"Recording made in Brixton tube station at 2:00 pm on Thursday 2 October 2008. Brixton tube station, along with Brixton itself, is famous, often for all the wrong reasons. The station has a reputation for drug dealing just outside the main entrance and being noisy and intimidating to people who don't know the area well. I don't really seen it like that (and haven't seen any dealing). While the local area is colourful and richly diverse, which I suppose can put people off, the station itself is quiet and peaceful, probably due to the station staff perpetually playing classical music and opera over the tannoy, which you can hear in this recording. I have heard that the music is to ward off culture-shy troublesome youngsters, although I don't know whether or not this is true. I forgot to take a picture of the station, so this one is from Wikipedia. For more information and an archive of previous recordings, visit www.liamdavenport.co.uk/London"

I live in Brixton and absolutely love the fact that the staff play classical music to me on my way to work.
Cheers for the feedback guys! Going to do another version of this based on the comments...
