Rising from a hotbed of a rich rock and country past that produced such artists as Janis Joplin, The Big Bopper, and ZZ Top among others, The Evertronic have successfully established themselves as the premier electronic act of the Gulf coast. Formed in 2007, the group set out to put emotion and seduction back into a genre mostly known for its cold and monotonous past. Call it what you will (synthpop, indiepop, etc.), but classifying The Evertronic as a novelty retro act is simply impossible. “Classic songwriting is timeless. “, says lead singer and frontman Joshua Louis. “That’s why it is hard for many to categorize us down to just one genre. The instrumentation recalls the great electronic artists of the past, but the songs and presentation are as modern as it gets.” The group strive to make every show unique and special to everyone involved. “We want to make people dance. But we also love writing songs that get stuck in people’s heads.” says Joe Garcia, programming guru and live synth co-captain. “With our instrumentation and music philosophy, the possibilities are endless.” And many have taken note. The Evertronic sound caught the ear of Steven Seibold(Hate Dept. Americlone) who was promptly enlisted for engineer/co-producer duties, and Ronnie Martin(Joy Electric, Foxglove Hunt, The Bros. Martin) as collaborator
