Love this part. The beat reminds me of slow Kirby in Dreamland music...

Shit, this part is awesome. Your remix deserved much more than 2/5

    2. The Digital Princess on November 12, 2009 01:58

@johnny_ripper: I guess the mix was just bad. At the time I was no where near as experienced as I am now. And I didn't quantize anything >.< I played everything with an actual keyboard.

    3. The Digital Princess on November 12, 2009 02:52

@The Digital Princess: Also, I had a few issues with the automation because I fiddled around with the modwheel (assigned to cutoff frequency) and pitchbend wheel. For some reason they didn't stick. In the demo version, in the bit before the chorus, had a full filter sweep, which somehow disappeared.

The synth you have heere is a little too over bearing. It's good but it's fighting with his voice too much.

    2. @metavirus: ROFLOLZZ

@The Digital Princess: seconded on the roflmmfao.

    6. AdrianLione on July 09, 2009 13:51

@The Digital Princess: ur laughing cuz its an orginal synth by NIN?

    7. @AdrianLione: No, I added my own pads in there. Something from EXS. I did use the pad from the song at the beginning and in the choruses.

nize trizack. Id like to see what u can do with other nin tracks not my fav nin track but hey. Id say maybe some eq cutting on the high ranges? Maybe soften up the sound a touch so it sounds warmer.

    2. @AdrianLione: I have several other remixes in the NIN group. I think I added them to the Logic group, not sure.

    3. AdrianLione on July 10, 2009 13:30

if you seperate the nin vox to the daft vox and jump back and forth it would have much more impact, youre on the right track with this

    2. The Digital Princess on October 11, 2009 12:03

@Jean-Anton: I do still have the project on my mac, but at this time, I'm really not fussed about reworking it, but thanks :)

it would be cool to be something on his voice to make it a lil ruff

    2. AdrianLione on June 23, 2009 14:50

@AdrianLione: or maybe not, maybe eq his voice a lil? so it can blend in to the track?

    3. @AdrianLione: I don't think I even have the project anymore!!! This thing is old as!

Final mix before I wanted to cut my ears off.
Not really after critique on this one. It's just something I did for fun, so sit back, listen and enjoy (or at least try to).
