Found one more spot! yah! :D Sounding great as usual guys. Nothing beats the kitchen parties, with Shirley and the gang. And all my best to Sam
Oh so true my friend :))
@Kitchen Party House Band: ...and it's NOT foolishness if it comes from the heart.
Once we speed up the the tempo it gets very creative...We need an occasional taskmaster otherwise the older ones, like myself , fall asleep,,, I notice after recording that the tempo is much slower then normal and so I chalk it up to age :)))
It was a good night, Devil Cat, and having fresh blood in the room in the form of Gregg on sax upped the antie :)))
Always find an interesting choice of instruments, Larry--love the sax, and the spacey guitar right at the end loops in there perfectly. Quite a set and sonic wonderland! :)
Pretty interesting how this turns into a rock/jazz fusion piece. Like it! :)
That's Robin, Tom... he played with Johnny Paycheck, among others, of "Take that Job and Shove It" fame... I'm sure you may have a story or two about that my friend :)
Hey JJ, I got word that he's bustin' out of the hospital in search of a gig this weekend :) and I so hear you JJ, we are trying to manage better, being off on the weekends helps but if people we are following fail to repost we miss a lot of possible great tracks :(
that's way too cute, Rory :))))
i think I missed the Kitchen last week :( So sorry about that...have been trying to keep up with everything..seems impossible sometimes...but I'm SO glad to be back in the kitchen this week...this is great...and I'm sending all positive thoughts to Sam....hugs and prayers from Ohio :)
@textosh: Sorry couldn't resist, since he mentioned Hollywood. There is somewhat of a border war in these parts you know, we don't take kindly to S Californians generally.
@Kitchen Party House Band: I thought he said two "fruits"! };o)
Thanks Nick, we so agree, Gregg was spot on all night long :)
Love this song - great sax!
@Kitchen Party House Band: That's just too cool.....
Cheers Manasseh, so happy that you made it back :)))
Hey Manasseh, happy to see you back in the old kitchen and can we refresh your drink :)
Thank you Larry, he's a good man and a frickin good singer, got word he'll be busting out of the hospital this weekend :) and thank you again for supporting our foolishness :)))
We'll drink to that Pichy... then again we have been known to toast everything and anything in sight :)))
Gnet, the door to the kitchen is always open and the drinks are always cold :)))
A toast to Sam and this fraternal kitchen
Thank you Niall and so happy to see you in the old kitchen... saw where Simon did a wicked take on one of your songs last evening and I so hear you... At Xmas 2 years ago I set the recorder to quad not realizing that it would take twice the juice and it shut off 2 hours later when we were just starting to get into the music!!!!
Thank you Lee, my sentiments exactly, always figured that if you were going to record a cover either change the tempo or rock it harder then the original otherwise what's the point :)))
That, Sandy, is our very own Rockin' Shirley... I'm hoping to post some of her original songs when she gets back from her trip to the west coast. :))
A good set of songs, as usual. I don't know Sam, but send my moral support to him, please. And for those in the kitchen thanks for keeping me smiling!
Now if someone would just fill Rockin Shirley's drink
We should probably omit that comment KellyAnne, when he reads this he might start charging a fee to play with the rest of us vagabonds :))))
Hey Gnet, the kitchen party bouncer (see cover picture) has strict orders to let everyone but the mice into the kitchen... :)))
