Before the blues became electric, way back in the delta, in Georgia, in Texas and all over the southern states of the US the blues was acoustic. The sound of vocals, harp and guitars was the sound of the blues! Sonny Boy Williamson playing with Robert Johnson on the night Johnson was poisoned; Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee....that was the sound when it started. Now, in an era when the blues is dominated by electric guitars The Bourbon Words are looking to take this music back home.....simple but powerful blues music.
