Need a gift for a gifted musician?
21 year old Blake Cha, more commonly referred by his stage name TEZZERACT, is primarily an Electro House Producer from Tucson, Arizona. Though, he has been known to dabble in many other genres, as well as blending and combining them into new, unique sounds. Blake obtained his name from an old book he found at a yard sale, called, "A Wrinkle in Time", in which they used “tesseracts” to travel through different dimensions of the space-time continuum; Similar to the journeys that Blake creates through his productions.
He started creating loops and samples in fl studio when he was 15, as an occasional hobby. In 2011, he started taking music production more seriously. By November that year, he had released three songs, “All Along” a mesmerizing Dubstep track with surreal chopped and sliced vocals; “Super Mario Castle Theme Remix” A Complextro House track featuring samples from the widely popular nintendo game series; and “Solstice”, A high energy Schizophrenic Dubstep track ranging from beautiful and euphoric piano rolls, to nostalgic video game sounds, to insane lazer screeches, and an appropriate vocal message before the drop, “LOUD NOISES!". Although this track was not mastered at the time, the production quality was so intense and positively embraced, that many people started posting the track across the web as an unreleased Feed Me and Skrillex collaboration. This event drove a huge buzz, but thankfully everything was cleared up, and TEZZERACT received the proper recognition for his track.
Currently (2012), he is working on some Progressive and Electro House inspirations, with some remixes already released, for Avicii and Oxia which can be found on Beatport, as well as a new all original EP. Tour dates have not yet been established, but it is rumored that a live show setup, along with a high energy packed performance is only appropriate. ;)
