TETRAMETH:
Is the brain child of Melbourne based musician/producer, Peter Hayes. A seasoned veteran to the international trance scene. His music & reputation spans world wide. Studying music, & several instruments from an early age, making the shift from playing & touring in bands, to writing and producing electronic music, was an inevitable, and easy transition. ”Tetrameth’s sound is an extremely eclectic concoction. Influenced by many different genres of music. Least of which, (believe it or not) is trance music. It’s cleverly constructed progressive trance, but with an unmistakably organic/tribal undertone. Flooded with intricate driving percussion, and a signature selection of vocal samples, designed to steer the mind in many different, & unexpected directions.
Tetrameth’s sound design is unlike any other artist in this particular field. Put quite simply. Its a beast of its own." (L.Jolly-Beat magazine.) Peter is a graduated musician, with a diploma in contemporary music. Having graduated at the "Conservatorium of Music" Majoring on guitar. And also studying vocal’s & drums, & composition. After getting a taste of electronic music in 1998, Peter’s quest was to compose electronic music that could be appreciated by not only partygoers, & friendly, harmless lunatics. But most importantly, composition that stimulated, & engaged the most educated & highly trained of musicians.

“I wanted to make progressive trance music that entertained the minds of professional musicians. Many of whom disregard the electronic music genre, especially trance music due to the overload of soulless, disposable, garbage that is forever broadcast on radio, T.V, & throughout nightclubs the world over.
As a generalization, electronic dance music is built on a foundation of repetitive loops, no key changes, & very little chord movement. Very formulated, & very little experimentation. My instant idea was to grab the mold, & smash it to pieces. Brake all the rules. Then re-write my own.”
Tetrameth’s style of experimental/progressive/trance, is now at a world-class level, truly pushing, and surpassing boundaries previously set within the genre. And since, has been the source of inspiration for many progressive/electronic producers around the world.
