Need a gift for a gifted musician?
Their sound, though hard to define, has been referred to as “punk-blues”, “gutbucket soul”and “explosive stomp and groove”. This high-octane trio from Boston, MA has been touring the country every year since 2008, taking their unique form of roots and blues all across the United States.
In 2013 Ten Foot Polecats were featured in Relix Magazine and the song "Moonshine and Mud" was featured on the October/November CD along with songs by North Mississippi Allstars, Jack Johnson, and more. The band also had two songs ("Moonshine & Mud" and "So Good To Me") featured on the History Channel's show "Hatfield and McCoy's" on episodes 8 and 10.
WHAT'S HAPPENING IN 2014!!!
Ten Foot Polecats will be going global as they will be touring in Europe for the first time as they play in Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, and possibly in France, Austria, and The Netherlands in June of 2014. They will also be going way up north to play Alaska for the very first time in early August 2014. They also will be playing festivals in Chicago, Tennessee, Belgium, and Switzerland, with more festivals on tap as well. Various touring includes a May Tour with super woman Molly Gene One Whoaman Band. As usual, Ten Foot Polecats will also be touring across the Eastern United States at various points this year. On top of all this it appears that we will be releasing a live album from our 2013 tour (could also include a vinyl record release) .....so stay tuned!
