Radiation City - The Things You Tell Us

The Hands That Take You first saw the light of day in February 2011 when the band released the recordings on Apes Tapes, their cassette tape-only label. Owning and operating a record label put the duo in a position of musical saturation. After participating in multiple bands and side-projects, the two sat down to do it right. Radiation City is the product of intention -- the cream of their musical crop. To them, it's something special or, as Spies puts it, "almost like it's a lady you want to treat real nice." They’ve now teamed up with Tender Loving Empire (Typhoon, Loch Lomond) to release the album nationally.
