Hailing from the obscure outskirts of Bergen, Norway, 82-model Henning Severud has been producing music under his Telephones-moniker since 2006, but have DJ'ed sporadically in Bergen, Oslo and Trondheim over the last 10 years. His music and DJ-sets combine influences from disco, italo, new wave, house, kraut, techno, cosmic and punkfunk - steadily piloting the shuttle between cold European synthetics and warm analogue-, equatorial sounds. Telephones is said to be found within the same solar system as fellow vikings Prins Thomas, Diskjokke, Lindstrom and Todd Terje, but often finds himself frequenting slightly more filthy corners of kosmos, plagued by unpredictible asteroid belts and drifting lost transmissions from the 80s.

In 2010 he relocated to Berlin where he may or may not be working on some cabbage/coconut-infused tropical techno.
