About
Hi there, fellow Clouders!
I'm Ron and I live in sunny St Pete, Florida. I've been into the electronica/trance scene since the late 80's and very early 90's, and so, I've heard just about every style out there. With that said, it takes a lot to impress me, but folks on here have done just that, and I'm so glad that you all continually prove to me that I HAVEN'T heard it all - quite yet... I'm working on my first podcast, but I'm still trying to figure out what to call it, considering my (AGES OLD) screenname, which I own across MANY popular domains. I'd love to hear your suggestions on this, btw... I'm a blogger and avid fan of the electronic medium of music and where we can go with it, so please feel free to turn me on to something shiny and new, baby. I try to be constructive in my feedback and comments; it's NEVER my intention to offend, but to help you, the creators, find a new Peace, and boundless creativity, Clouders!

This here's a bangin' l'il mashup... The Tantrum Desire song just added that missing "something". Good job, man!
Crunchy, man!
Shai...Man WHERE is the full remix of this track?!? This TOTALLY kicks ass...
Very nice remix... Has a dark, futuristic (yet minimal) feel to it... Good work!
Love this La Roux mix and the Kill Bill sample works really well here...
Love the groove of this, Shai. Mellow with a kick...get it!
Great work, as usual, Shai. Nice, unexpected choice of song, too.
Nice buildup (to bring the beat back) here... Me likey!
I like the groove of this, but the track is WAY to short to really get into...
This is a kickin' little edit... Nice work!
Very nice update of a classic!
LOVIN' the traveling downbeat trip here...
Shai, you've done it again, man. Very groovy!
This isn't one of my favorite Doors tunes, but you've done an AWESOME job bringing it into the 21st century, kickin' and screamin' . Love the dubstep and scratch elements in this; it really works well, and actually makes the song better, IMHO... You go, boy!
I THINK I liked this, but there really wasn't enough of the track to decide if I liked where it was headed. Does this make sense?
Nice traveling kind of groovescape. Great job, man!
@dj ShmeeJay: Easily (and gladly) done!
That growling, lumbering baseline is TOTALLY INFECTIOUS... <3 it!
This is great... Hope you don't mind me ripping this off for my own podcast...
LOVING this section. Nice work, mate!
I NEVER thought I would hear a Notorious B.I.G. track I liked - until now. This kicks, man!
Great update to a favorite classic, man!
Love the throb of the bass and driving beat. Quite a nice update to this song, mate!
Nice low-key groove. Good work.
This is brilliant work, man. I like how it's both minimal, but has a traveling kind of groove that maintains the listener's interest.
LOVE the Retro-Future groove of this. Tres Bien!
I wasn't real clear on the last couple of remixes, but this is really good. The song is obscure (to me), so it's interesting to hear McFerrin brought into a modern day sensibility...
I was waiting to see what your next remix would be and you didn't disappoint. Great job! Love it!
Really diggin' this track at the moment... It's one that SCREAMS 'you've left 2011 behind'. Fresh and more polished, subdued dub works really well in this. Good job!
@Frontkick: Not exactly... Just use more of the original song itself? To me, it seems like a generic trance or progressive track that just happens to have a couple of samples from "Come Together" thrown in, rather than being a fully realized remix of said song. Maybe its a minimalist thing (that I've never been able to fully wrap my head around), and that's why I'm not getting it, but I can assure you, no offense is intended.
@Frontkick: Well, yes, I do, actually. Old school, though.; we did everything through hardware, but the point I was making is that there's not enough of "Come Together" to make it recognizable in the mix that is named after the original song. That's all....
I liked this as a chillout track, but it was WAY too short to build a mood upon; you could have easily made this a ten minute track and followed the groove down the rabbit hole...
IMHO, you didn't do the original song any favors, which is a shame. because I was looking forward to hearing this, yet there was so little of the original present throughout, I actually forgot which song I was listening to a remix of. Part of using a song like that is that much of the work is done for you because it ALREADY HAS a strong melody and/or lyrics to build off of and take in a different direction. Can't wait to see what you do with a classic that is preserved, or at least recognizable...
Welcome, audiophiles...to the sound of 2012. Great work to start the year, mate!
This is the creepiest version of this song that I've ever heard; it's like Laibach-meets-Postal Service, but you get the gold star for an original, unique interpretation
VERY nice background work on this. You changed the underlying structure of the song without diminishing the emotional impact of the original. Great job!
Crunchy dub, man!
LOVE this remix... TOTALLY glitch-tastic...
@JustAnotherDJ: They use the same sample from the song "Everybody's Talkin" By Harry Nilsson, which was also made famous in the movie Midnight Cowboy.
Awesome mix, man... Can't wait to see what classic you tackle next.
