Paul has been producing music for around 15 years under various guises, most recently under the moniker 'Tech Star'. Paul produces Minimal/Detroit/Deep Techno and releases music on the fantasticTwisted Energy label and hosts a weekly Techno radio show (Deep Techno Sessions) every Friday between 8pm and 10pm.

Paul has produced music for approximately 15 year under various names, most recently 'Tech Star'. His style is deep and dark techno. Paul started producing at 16 using some very primative software on a very old PC. He soon discovered the fantastic ReBirth software which emulates two TB-303's, a 909, and an 808, and this is where his love for techno stems from. He would create tracks and even entire sets in ReBirth but before long Paul began to use an early version of Steinberg Cubase. Using Cubase opened up massive possibilities with the introduction of VST technology and everything then grew from there.

Paul is now an expert user of Ableton Live Suite 8, he uses Ableton as his primary digital audio workstation but also uses Cockos Reaper and other software for mixing and mastering duties.
