Bio: Tav the DJ

Decked out in his trademark Tux jacket And Vest, Tav the DJ (Chris Sherwyn) delivers the power of electro with a twist of top 40. He represents the fusion of high energy Electro, fun loving House, and crowd shaking Mash-Ups. Every night. Over the years, Chris has continued to hone his craft, focusing on the crowd to find that sound that makes them bob their heads, tap their feet, and really enjoy themselves.

Chris presently holds three residencies:
• The Londoner (Uptown, Dallas TX) on Mondays, 10PM-2AM
• Sushi Axiom (Uptown, Dallas TX) on Thursdays, 7PM-10PM
• “Remix Night” Inwood Tavern on Fridays, 10PM-2AM

Chris believes that feedback is necessary in the continuing path to becoming a better DJ. Thus, all of his sets are recorded (practice and LIVE) and posted for public inspection. Please enjoy the tunes @ TavTheDJ

While Chris has always had a true love for music, a chance trip to the Winter Music Conference in 2008 ignited a passion and fueled the creation of Tav the DJ. Since then, his energies have become focused on perfecting the art and science of playing records to get crowds moving and really make the room move!
