Who'd like to sample this? Might be fun....

This is a Little Golden Book that my mom used to read to me when I was young - it features a little duckling named Frederick...It's a funny testament to how things change as the cover features Fred strolling up the road , smoking a cigarette and drinking what appears to be a beer. I love it! Why can't we still have children's books like this? Ha.

This was written in 1949 by Dorothy Kunhardt.
