Producer and Dj (France, 1982) Tamaris musical influences and inspirations ranges from Techno to Jazz via Drum & Bass and Hip Hop to Classic ... and his beloved Detroit Techno and US House with the early 90s Uk electronica, particularly artists such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Stacey Pullen, Claude Young, Carl Craig, Jeff Mills & the UR crew, Basic Channel or Larry Heard, Global Communication, Surgeon, Autechre, The Black Dog, B12, BOC, Plaid, Aphex Twin, and ... and other Warp staples ! but also his contemporary artists like Francesco Tristano(Aufgang ...), Sven Weismann(Desolate ...) or Actress, BNJMN, Murcof, Recloose... which can be still enjoyed throughout his DJ-Sets ...
Started to learn piano(a few years) but In the mid-90's Tamaris started dj'ing(use some various names) in some small local underground parties and became the resident dj and the radio music programmer(electronic music) for a local radio station and started hosting his radio show and conceived a radical 2 hours show every Saturday, and during four years he presents music coming from Detroit, Chicago and other cities around the world ... from jazz to hip hop and techno, house …
In 2002, he started producing his own music, programming sounds Inspired by the Detroit techno but would like to be seen not only as a "Techno" producer, but also as an experimental artist exploring new sounds... Tamaris makes Detroit style techno and electronica, ranging from freaking minimal to modern classic or even experimental stuff everything can happen ...
