Talking Through a Slippa are an improvising vocal duo creating music, soundscapes and surround sound listening experiences. Through approaching the voice unconventionally and employing looping pedals in order to build complex layers, TTAS immerse the listener in a rich sonic landscape, strange and other worldly, yet somehow familiar. Talking Through a Slippa, Julius Bangert and Harry Neve, explore the incredible versatility of the human voice, embracing orally produced sounds that would not generally be considered for music making. From breathy grating atmospheres and rhythmical clusters that bring to mind swarming creatures, to aggressive guttural beats and ritualistic tribal chants. TTAS draw the listener into a fresh and exciting sound world.

All of TTAS's material comes from a series of ongoing improvisations. These sessions vary in length and flow seamlessly from state to state. All the sound is orally produced with no post production.
