-------------------------------------------------------
T-Tonal aka DJ LyRiX has been involved in the hardcore scene for 8 years. In that time, he has seen it all, heard it all, and become passionate enough about it to get involved more prominently. T-T has been to plenty of events, bought more albums than he can fit in one room, and is now producing.
T-Tonal, also known to some as Tony, is a graduate from Lancaster University, where he studied English Language with Creative Writing. Sometimes he does wonder why he didn't choose a Music Technology course, but then he remembers that he's a bit of a fool. Which is why he's doing Primary School Teaching...
He's originally from Ellesmere Port, which is a town not far from Chester and Liverpool in the north west of England.
He enjoys most electronic music, and though Hardcore is definately his favourite, he enjoys Drum & Bass, Hardstyle, Gabber and more.
T-Tonal grabbed some production software and has been producing for a good few years. He doesn't pretend he knows everything, and one of his biggest passions is always being able to learn new things about music production. His influences come from anything from Eminem to Michael Jackson to Miley Cyrus to Slipknot.
In 2009, T-T finally got his own radio show. Titled "The Core & Bass Show", LyRiX played out some of his favourite tracks from the D&B, Hardcore and various other hard dance scenes. Sadly he has to pre-mix them so he can't take requests, as the studio is a bit rubbish.
Tonal's productions took a turn for the better and have started getting the attention of some top hardcore producers. He also plans on taking his "Core & Bass" format beyond its current format, and getting his music into clubs. The North-west of England is not the most hardcore, yet LyRiX has received a few minor gigs and plans on setting up an event before the end of his life.
