In February 2011, Sergio went over to Allen's house. They had met briefly through a mutual friend at Sergio's Go BANG! Disco party, bonding over stories of their days at UC Berkeley, Sergio being a big fanboy of Allen's Yerba Buena Discos house label, and the love of Disco. They had agreed to edit one song, but on the BART ride over to Allen's house, Sergio was listening to Sylvester's "Fever." He showed up, they heard it, they loved it, they edited it!
