Need a gift for a gifted musician?
I started out learning bass guitar when I was 14 yrs old and soon after, got my first synthesizer, the EDP Wasp. I got hooked! I got myself a V1 white face ARP Oddysey when I was 16/17, a Sequential Circuits Pro-One soon after, a Sequential Circuits Prohpet 600 and a Sequential sixtrak 610 when I was 18. That was the last of the analog gear I ever owned :( I was there at the dawning of the digital age. My EDP had a digital din MIDI-like port for daisy chaining Wasps and Spiders together (sounds dangerous, doesn't it? ) and my 600 had the first implementation of MIDI! Next, when I was around 21, I got my first truly digital synth, the Kawai K1 sample based vector synth with wavetables taken from the Flagship K5000 Additive synth. Sequencing was done using a Spectrum 128k and a Cheetah Midi interface. My first foray into computers and MIDI. I've been through ATARI and AMIGA systems using various sequencers. Cubase was the first sequencer I ever used that had audio recording capabilities.
This is where i'll put anything that takes my fancy, be it WIP's, collabs, local bands or my own personal finished tracks. More tracks with more diverse musical styles will be up here soon. Real recorded drums in all of my own guitar based tracks is my next goal, so, real bass, real guitars, real drums, real vocals (no autotuney shite unless its for obvious effect) real vocodex vocals, aha. All synths, effects and sequencing done in FLStudio signature edition. I have Sonar X2 Pro now aswell now so expect to hear me produce with it too.
