Andrew Robertson A.K.A "Sykez" began his love of music from a young age, hearing his parents Motown & Rock records being play around the house, Sykez was always into music of all kinds but still he didnt have a genre he could call his own , but at the age of 14, it was only when he visited friends up in Bristol, he first heard UK Hip Hop, Sykez was really taken by this new sound to his ears, he was surrounded by Dj's Break-Dancers and Graffiti , he was amazed that so many people came together just for the love of the music ,, so as time past on Sykez still was a huge fan of the music world of most genre's, but it was when he first went to a night call "Legends of the Dark Black" at the age of 15 , when his ears was open to a new fast moving sound know as the UK DnB Jump Up scene, in his own words "what the hell is this,,?" this was the genre Sykez was now hooked to , he began to learn and understand Drum and Bass , from this he brought his first set of turntables , he started to getting sets for friends partys and club nights , soon after he began to wonder how the tunes he was playing out were put together , so started learning how to produce his own music , but still a unsigned artist with residences with "Friction" "Dnbjungle" "Niche" and Festivals based around the South West. Sykez is doing what first set out to do ,, Share the music he loves to the masses
