:PAPERCUTZ - Where Beasts Die by :PAPERCUTZ

“Where Beasts Die,” the haunting electro/acoustic single off Papercutz’ The Blur Between Us LP, has already been remixed excellently by Bam Spacey and Kiyoko. Now, Luxembourg’s finest, Sun Glitters, takes a turn that might best them all, employing great percussive textures, as usual, plus an extra oomph of vocal work, gently swirling Melissa Veras’ words like a wooden spoon in tea.

This is a remix of our second album single ":PAPERCUTZ - Where Beasts Die by :PAPERCUTZ' by lush beatworker 'Sun Glitters'. Taken from an upcoming digital EP we'll be unveiling track-by-track...

Sun Glitters is Luxemborug's Victor Ferreira. Through recent months, the work of Sun Glitters has become widely recognized internationally through his various releases and from the various collaborations he has embarked with other projects, like, Transparent Records’ Purity Ring, Blackbird Blackbird, Niva, :Papercutz, White Denim or Lushlife. The prolific producer has been featured on various mags claiming him as one of the finest example of chillwave synth-pop to come out in recent years and has been working on a forthcoming album.

"Lovely buzzing sounds from Luxembourg’s Sun Glitters. It’s a good way to pass the time, a good way to clear your head, a springtime sweatshirt when you’re not sure if a jacket is enough." The Fader

"A name to watch." The Fly Magazine

"Decorative high-end catchiness that one would expect from a post-everything-era chillwave beat…a promising producer." XLR8R

"…finest example of chillwave synth-pop meets ambient dream-pop. Victor Ferreira’s pitch-shifted vocals and chopped-up melodies create a compellingly itchy, glitchy R&B." Guardian
