Submix (Pedro Gonçalves) born in Porto , Portugal. Started in music as a drummer in an indie band during the nineties and had is first contact with electronic sounds during that period via a purchased keyboard starting there the first experiments with more dance orientaded and synthetic sonorities. But it was in 2003 that everything changed.Paying each time more attention as an avid listener to genres like house and techno always with a deep and minimal edge, a new passion was found. At the same time he took is first contact with computer based production technonolgies.Listening was not enough anymore, so he decided to start producing his own sounds. As a newcomer to production, everything was new in this field so the next two years were basically a time to learn and experiment and to slowly build his home studio where he currently works.His first productions date from the end of 2006 and during 2007 and 2008 he sees his first tracks released and some of his productions get airplay on national radio stations.Constantly learning , experimenting and producing are his objectives for the future so that he can reach as many listeners as possible and share the music he loves to make.Devotion to sound!
