STUDIO MALI is a production company, record label, recording studio and artist management organization based in Bamako MALI. We have worked on musical projects in Mali with: Bassekou Kouyate, Toumani Diabate, Oumou Sangare, Rokia Traore, Afel Bocoum, Leni Stern, Amadou and Mariam, Habib Koite, Youssou N’dour, Lucy Duran, Ami Sacko, Neba Solo, Vieux Farka Toure, Andra Kouyate, Ami Koita, Alex Wilson “Mali Latino”, Tartit, Ryan Thomas Skinner “Sidikba’s First Kora Lesson”, Ramses from Tata Pound, Idrissa Soumaoro, Baba Salah, Doussou Bagayoko, Penzi, Baba Salah, Nahawa Doumbia, Babani Kone and many others.
Studio Mali has produced events and organized projects in Mali for National Geographic, NY Times, Carnegie Hall, USAID, Johns Hopkins/Bloomberg School of Public Health, US Department of State, UNICEF, APE Artists Project Earth, ABC, National Museum of Mali, Ministry of Culture (Mali), ICRISAT, and BONO’s non-profit organization DATA.
