December 14th 2009 will mark thirty years since the release of the landmark album, London Calling by The Clash (January 2010 in North America). A week later and we will have seen seven years since the untimely passing of the band’s lead singer and guitarist Joe Strummer. To mark these important dates and in the spirit of Strummer’s connection with Jamaican music via reggae and dub, we present Shatter The Hotel: A Dub Inspired Tribute To Joe Strummer (rewired & dubbed-up tracks from the Strummer/Jones catalogue).
