Stroef is a Techno DJ, mainly specialised in Detroit Techno. His passion for Techno rooted from hearing a mix tape at the end of the 90’s from 'The Wizzard', also known as Jeff Mills. Inspired by Mills and the Force + Form album from the UK techno artist Surgeon, he started his musical adventure into the world called Techno.
In 2002 he bought his first 2 decks and since 2005 he performs with a third one next to it. He has performed at several big venues in Amsterdam and is Question’s resident and and fellow organiser.
His style can be described as progressive: starting out slow and ending with a punch. He always tries to tell his listeners a story.
