  @rezzn8r: Thanks! Due to the nature of recording with a modular, there was a lot of track variations all sitting on top of each other, and the editing process revealed, or maybe unearthed, this groove. Sometimes you hear only a single edited 1/8th or 16th note of a track in four measures of audio.

piano ambient soothing

Other projects are calling for my attention. However, I am certain this will be the final piece in the sequence. If The Gulf Between Us opens with the sound of me seated at the piano, Some Rain Must Fall ends with me leaving. But, even before this serendipity, I had intended for this to be the final piece. At about the half way point, I transition to a progression with a strong, upbeat resolution and then ultimately fail to deliver.
