CONTEST PERIOD:
The Lomiiel "Hay Lupita" Remix Contest (“Contest”) starts on October 11, 2024 at 12:00 pm ET and ends on November 1, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET ("Entry Period"). All Entries (as defined below) received after the Entry Period are automatically disqualified.
ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is open to individuals in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry, have a current, valid account on SoundCloud as of the date of entry and through the completion of the Contest, and are not members of any music or artist union or guild, nor are they currently signed to a music recording contract or publishing deal. The Contest is subject to all applicable laws. By participating, each entrant (“Entrant” or “you”) agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Lomiiel and the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Contest. The Entrant will be deemed the individual submitting the Entry.
HOW IT WORKS:
Create a remix of Lomiiel’s song "Hay Lupita" using the provided audio and your own digital audio workstation (collectively, the “Remix”).
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the Contest during the Entry Period, you must:
- Go to "Hay Lupita" on Lomiiel’s SoundCloud Profile and click the ‘remix’ button in the hashtag section to access the stems for “Hay Lupita”.
- Upload your original Remix to your SoundCloud page and use the hashtag #HayLupitaRemix (an “Entry”).
There is no limit to the number of Entries an Entrant may submit, but all Entries must be unique and submitted separately as described above to be eligible. All Entrants must have SoundCloud accounts, and the Remix must be set to “Public” to enter. All applicable SoundCloud terms and conditions apply. Uploading an Entry shall constitute the Entrant’s agreement to these Official Rules.
By submitting an Entry, the Entrant represents and warrants that the Remix does not contain unlicensed samples and/or vocals and conforms to these Official Rules. SoundCloud or Lomiiel, in their sole discretion, may disqualify any Entry for any reason, including if either determines that the Entry fails to conform to these Official Rules or contains unacceptable content.
WINNER DETERMINATION:
All eligible Entries received will be judged by a panel of qualified judges selected by Lomiiel. Lomiiel reserves the right to not award the prize if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries. One (1) winner will be selected for the first place prize and one (1) winner will be selected for the second place prize.
PRIZES:
The 1st place prize includes:
(i) a fifteen (15) minute FaceTime call with Lomiiel & an on-camera official repost of the winning Remix on Lomiiel's SoundCloud profile
(ii) a one (1) Year SoundCloud Next Pro subscription;
(iii) $500 USD cash prize; and
(iv) Lomiiel will use your official remix as a sound on his TikTok
The 2nd place prize includes:
(i) a feature of your remix on Lomiiel’s social media channels;
(ii) a one (1) Year SoundCloud Next Pro subscription.
Winners may not substitute, assign, or transfer the prize. Lomiiel reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize (or any portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All taxes associated with prize acceptance and use are the sole responsibility of the winner. All prize details are at Lomiiel’s sole discretion.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
The potential winners will be notified via the email address provided during the entry process. If a winner is at least eighteen (18) but still considered a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, Lomiiel reserves the right to require the winner’s parent or legal guardian to fulfill all requirements imposed on the winner as set forth herein.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
By participating, each Entrant agrees to release, indemnify, discharge, and hold harmless SoundCloud, Lomiiel, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective owners, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses, and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property, resulting from participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, or the Released Parties’ exercise of the rights granted herein.
DISPUTES:
To the extent permitted by applicable law, by entering the Contest, Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or related to the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal or state court located in New York. All issues and questions concerning these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
