The most revolutionary thing to come out on ST was Quasimoto. That was Psilocybin induced from what I hear. Madlib got genius on those releases. Really cartoony, created a whole world on its own. More releases on that quantum leap level is what's needed. When an artist kind of creates their own reality of characters. That is beyonder shit.

thats one big ole band. soldschool. i guess its impressive they have figured out how to sound almost exactly like Augustus Pablo, Lee Scratch Perry. I'm not surprised to see Stones Throw (egon & PB wolf) release this band. Fills in that dub void. What else is there? Will Stones Throw continue to be a throw back label? Is it unimpressive to be a throw back label? No and yes. It's hip to do that. It's a vacation from all the modern producer clean sound that dominates pop & even under ground culture. Is it revolutionary though? Not really.
