Several cuts from former Waybacks frontman Stevie Coyle's first solo CD. It's a good old-fashioned concept album on a grand scale, and a far cry from the polite little fingerstyle guitar album he originally set out to make. The cast includes mando-meister Mike Marshall, keyboard monster Kit Walker and cellist Hank Roberts as well as New Age icon Phillips Aaberg on accordion, Walter Strauss and Rich DePaolo on guitar. The story is heard from the aural POV of one Mr. Oster, and we live in his head as he visits a carnival sideshow. Mystery and catharsis ensue.
