About
Stephen Hudson is a solo performer from Lancaster, England who writes semi-literate heart-on-sleeve pop songs about dog-walking, trashy magazines and grandparents.
Inspired by Daniel Johnston, Belle and Sebastian, Neil Young, and the Lemonheads, he has played all over the UK both solo and backed by his band the Fiat Pandas.
Recording above the music shop where he works Saturdays, he released the handmade piano-shaped single 'Tallulah?’ last year. It received airplay on BBC Radio 2 (Steve Lamacq) as well as on shows in Mexico and Japan, and sold out its limited edition 200 copy run. His debut LP is due for release later this year.
