"Stefan Hollaender" is my artist name as a live artist, producer and musician in electronic music since autumn 2007. This is also a sign for making a break in my musical career.

My first release was back in 1992 on Generator Records with the famous hardtrance project "Alien Factory". With my partner Bob Henning I played at Mayday 1994 (Westfalenhalle Dortmund) followed by numerous live-acts during the years 1994 to 1997, remixes and own productions under various project names.

In 1997 me and my new partner Hendrik Wilhelms founded "Toolbox Music Productions" and started a career as a producer with over 90 releases with major and independent record labels. Covering all styles except "deutscher Schlager" and "Classical" I gained professional knowledge in recording and producing modern popular music. I also experienced the ups and downs in the music business through the last 15 years and finally decided to quit the own studio.

At the end of 2005 I was employed as sound engineer and producer for a big film mixing facility and recording studio at the Musikpark Mannheim, which ended in 2007.

In 2008 I started my radio career as "Head of OnAir Design & OnAir Promotion" at the german radio station bigFM in Stuttgart, which is the biggest station for young people between 14 and 40. It's a great team and it's a lot of fun and work.

Since mid of 2010 I'm now head of program production for 3 radio stations (bigFM, RPR1, Radio Regenbogen) and I enjoy this very much.

My focus in making music is my collaboration with my good friend and best DJ I know Steffen Baumann (Space Ibiza, Sixty Sessions/Sunshine Live). Check out our tracks on beatport also. Besides producing I work on my vision of a live set to get back on stage. The goal is to be able to improvise live with electronic music. My live setup is Ableton Live as the heart, surrounded by an APC40, NI Maschine & Kore2, Traktor Pro + S2 & X1, my beloved iPad and some WII Controllers... ;-) Let's see how far I can get...
