@Steam Abacus: This was my first upload to SoundCloud. Before that, it was my last upload to MySpace. I ended up leaving MySpace as it was broken. I'm hoping SoundCloud doesn't go the same way. There's still hope. :)

@Jammin Jon Kiebon: Cheers, Jon - glad you enjoy my Frankisms. My guitar rig has been in a state of evolution over the last year. I'm old school analogue (don't use digital modelling) and have a couple of pedal boards (which you can see here .... http://www.flickr.com/photos/66709336@N03/6074828408/in/set-72157627379598995/lightbox/ ) running into a Blackstar HT-5H amp and an Award-Session JD10 pre-amp in stereo, with everything DI'd straight into the desk. This track was recorded before I went stereo. Steve Mauro is going to record some Bozzio-style drums over this - I can't wait to hear it!

@Steam Abacus: Steve -Yes definitely send the wav version. I'll give it a try. I'm not sure how I am going to record over your track-I use a Roland Edirol digital recorder to make all my tracks. I'll figure something out ! :)

Very Yesish beginning, imo. Great atmosphere. Next time I'm going listen to the other two album; this one was really good, especially the first two tracks! :)

@Steam Abacus: You should put your tracks here on SoundCloud - there is a big audience for music of all tastes and the pros are starting to take interest. You will find Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Chick Corea, Gary willis, Scott Kinsey, Kirk Covington to name a few. Did you manage to get to the Roundhouse shows? They seem to be talking of making it an annual event.

@John McLaughlin: Cheers, mate. As a point of interest the pic is an amalgum of FZ's left eye and my own. Frank's been a big influence on my playing - I had a whole collection of tracks up on MySpace last month to commemorate Frank's 70th birthday.
