    I Am The One She Needs by Star & Micey

    Star & Micey is a soulful folk pop band from Memphis, TN. Their self titled debut album is slated for release on October 20, 2009 and features a revolving door of fantastic musicians including Luther Dickinson (The Black Crowes, North Mississippi Allstars), Jody Stephens (Big Star) and Rick Steff (Cat Power, Lucero), just to name a few. However, when the sun sets, it is Joshua Cosby, Geoff Smith, and Nick Redmond that work relentlessly night after night while remaining poor. Hopefully, the music they make can transcend material possessions, and exhibit something that is always tangible between these three troubadours; that thing is love.
