BIOGRAPHY:

Born Stijn Vermeulen on August 10, 1992, my interest and curiosity for music has always been present. Nobody in my close family has a musical background, but that didn't stop me from being influenced by their taste anyway (electronical music).

At the end of the 90's I was a full-on dance-addict already, whilst not even being 10 yet. Jumping around to tracks like Fiocco - Afflitto and Scoop - Drop It.

2003 was the year I stumbled upon Tiësto - Traffic, when it became a massive hit in the mainstream hitlists as well. I ran over to the CD-store to find out who the hell this "Tiësto"-dude was. His Tiësto In Concert-DVD just got released, and I must have seen that DVD about 50 times in mere couple of months thereafter. At that point, I made my decision as to what my real passion was.

After that, I steadily decided to buy some DJ-material, and later on also some producing-material. My personal taste widened as well. Back in the days I was a full-on trance-addict, not really listening to anything else. Now it's basically a combination of nearly everything, from house to techno and from electro to drum&bass. Although I do have to say that I never really let go of the trancey sounds, as heard in my own tracks and sets.

Spending my days in Ableton is my main activity nowadays (apart from studying at uni)
