* Apologies to Pink Floyd
Thanks to Zefora for (heavily disguised) vocal sample
@exner: thanks a lot
fantastic music, great
very interesting groove!
a bit of the "raspberry parade" deep in here!
@hdathome: cheers - do you think it's weird (weird is very good of course) I think I have a very high weird threshold - I think the track is very normal :)
The remarkable thing about this track is how it evolves from the floyding lushness of grooving pink pikts over sheer weirdness into the most PinwheelHerman-like&transcending extasy!!!!!
your music has such humour, it grooves even with the use of the more aggressive sounds.. a serious vision is needed for this. awesome!
@Carolyn Burnette: 'not annoying' is good then :)
very interesting ... and surprisingly not annoying :)
@Hot Buttered Bland: Thanks Andrew, succulent is good. On the subject of useless summers it's galling to live somewhere that has permanently crap weather (i.e Manchester) and talk to someone from that there down south where is seems to sunny all the time.
This has a nice summery feel. Shame I'm listening to it at the arse end of September, after a particularly useless Northern Irish summer. Both days were average. I'm enjoying the busy stuttering synth and overlaid melody bouncing around. succulent
Wow this is from another galaxy mate (Y)
@Squinancywort: gosh this is so full of movement its making me physically dizzy.... great sounds!
@Squinancywort: That actually made me LOL and made my otherwise dull day at work a happier place. Cheers. PT 8)
@th3-v0rt3x: wow thanks a lot - there IS a version that goes on for ever - the CIA use it at Guantanamo Bay, as a form of torture, to extract confessions
This one blows my mind mate. So many different, great synth sounds that seamlessly blend into one another. I wanted it to go on for every mate. Fave for sure. PT 8)
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo trippy. A bit like some of The Orb's finest and then some. Love how you move the tune around in space and the stuttering is immense. Love it matey! PT 8)
@Squinancywort: Hahaha! :P (oh! it's your namesake!!! Nice√ Thanks for the nudge to Wikipedia!!!)
@Squinancywort: Damn Rhinos!
@Squinancywort: Just read the reply to Mr.Placement. What an excellent idea, complex but very simple, with astounding results. It's this type of thought process the gives music that excitement which is often missing today. Keep pushing and exploring. Show the world what you can do with music. Cheers.
@Caalamus: it's probably just you that's vibrating Mr Caalamus..seeing as how you've got all that rhythm you probably find some seeping out from time to time
@Caalamus: everyone's getting the horn these days
@Royal Blue: Hi Lindsay, but I always very much appreciate that you take the time to give such considered and generous feedback. This track, was really all about creating a 'process' (which I described to Mr Placement at the comment second from the end) and seeing where it took me.
There's barely any room left. You're just way too popular. Again a mind twisting swirl of glitchy, stuttering, sounds. And very narrative. The outlandish almost insane nature of your music would probably self-destruct in someone elses hands. But you know how to contain and tame the sounds, mould them into a very unique blend, that is pleasing. Always a pleasure.
@Narziss: Cheers Lesdemona - I CAN call you Lesdemona can't I??
