The origin of square-game goes back roughly three years ago when Kai and Stoney met whilst studying at Newport university, after many a pint of ale they decided to form a band. next they captured their drummer Curtz through a careful application of chocolate and sweets (drummers often have a sweet tooth)
Originally playing a few gigs under a different banner and name to begin with they decided to start over and go back to writing.
Recently, they now have the addition of Greg on bass after meeting him through a series of unusual coincidences.

Using both story and a journalistic approach to the songwriting, the themes that emerge are those of the highs and lows of city living. from the inspirational sparks to the heavy drinkers after dark.
Drawing upon influences from both dance and rock square game is for anyone who likes to rock, rave and have little sit down to think.
