Thanks to Ghost Dust for uploading and generously making available her beautiful acapella vocals for this song.

This recording uses Creative Commons-licensed samples from freesound.org as follows:

"Tabla loop" by afleetingspeck - http://www.freesound.org/people/afleetingspeck/sounds/151176/
"Convoluted bare bone loop 60 bpm 042" by Jovica - http://www.freesound.org/people/Jovica/sounds/4544/
"Gong" by timdrussell - http://www.freesound.org/people/timdrussell/sounds/51837/

Production notes: This is actually the 2nd mix of this song. The first version (which I have now removed from SoundCloud - I'd prefer people listened to this mix instead) was recorded on Saturday 8 September 2012 but having slept on it, I decided it needed a little remixing and produced this second mix on Sunday 9th. The percussive section towards the end of the original mix was too oppressive and whilst I liked the idea of the noise representing the sheer clutter of noise of the billions of stars in the cosmos (say, if received by a radio telescope) and also juxtaposed against the delicate beauty of Ghost Dust's vocals, I felt it needed to be toned down a bit. There are a few other tweaks here and there: the tabla track has been extended and the bass has been copied and pasted in places to create a longer and more consistent bass track. Also, a little delay has been added to Ghost Dust's vocals. I've kept the gong at the end... I feel it fits in with the Eastern motif of the music.
