DJ Spriteman, aka Ryan Mikulus, has always been about doing things differently. Perhaps stemming from childhood ADD, conforming to one specific genre has never seemed ideal. Spriteman's style is stemmed from the fusing of genres & beat patterns so that each track & mix brings something new to the table. In the end, you are left with a bass heavy, chilled out experience that is neither boring nor repetitive.

Spriteman's main modern influences typically come from artists played in some of my favorite DJ mixes. Listen to any DJ set released by Flinch, Kill the Noise, DJ Solo, Diplo or Modestep and you'll hear where Spriteman's hybrid style begins to stem from. Don't be surprised to hear a mix of Dubstep, DnB, Moombahton, Trapstyle, Kuduro, and Goombah at any Spriteman show.

Discovering Fruity Loops at a very young age, Spriteman became acquainted with the software very quickly. However, at the time he had no musical or technical training. Fast forward to 2010 when the gift of a two channel audio mixer set Spriteman on course to DJ & production stardom. Vast amounts of research & an ever growing fan response continues to drive this young DJ/Producer to keep pushing his own limits.

2012 was a huge year for DJ Spriteman, who packed venues by fusing his style with the live beats of drummer rudoFF. Spriteman has also played a weekly spot on Electrolouis.com along side DJ's TDDY RXPN & J. Spence. The trio have also worked together to open for Baauer and play alongside local acts such as FuBiGeMo, Dedwrong, Scarewolf, Nightzel, Heezy, LoFoSho, DCupp, Spyke, as well as STL based rappers TRUTH & Less.

In 2013, Spriteman, along with DJ/Producers FuBiGeMo, Nightzel, Scarewolf, Dedwrong, TDDY RXPN, J. Spence & Legacy, founded music production group, "Sub-Urban STL Entertainment" as a joint effort to throw underground shows in Saint Louis & surrounding areas, where the competition is fierce and stiff. Later this year, expect big things from DJ Spriteman, including a series of multi-genre mixtapes branding the title, "Loaded", as well as a possible EP, more collaborations & remixes!
