I mix on turntables. That's how I get my enjoyment. I do it to feel good, not to make myself look good. I'm not big on tricks. I play the records I love, in their entirety, because they deserve to be heard. In full.
Spotta Sounds was started in honour of those spontaneous nights round your mate's where everybody jumps on the decks and the music takes control. The chat room for the show is a great place to hang out and let off steam. It's always full of like-minded DJ's, producers and music lovers who recognise these good times and I'm lucky enough to consider them all as good friends.
As hard as they try, work and family commitments haven't held back Spotta Sounds! The sessions continue to grow in popularity and I'm joined each month by Dez Williams, The Hidden Persuader, Hycon, Jobot and Up Digital.
