In the beginning, there was a tune. And with this tune came a groove. The groove of all grooves. A line so bass-driven it shook the core of the soul, and took me to another plane of existence and back.
But I didn't want to come back...
Why have reality, when I could have musicality?
So, here I stay in Ghostpur, East of The West, where all the grooves and funk still play the songs of the soul. Their masters whether they be alive or dead still reign with no issue. Laxmikant Pyarelal, Bappi Lahiri, Ravi Shankar, brothers of funk Kalyanji and Anandji, and The Big Man himself Rahul Dev Burman.
Come, Sing, and Conq-out.
From beyond the pyre,
Spooky
