Splitface Meets The Trifidelix (2011)
Splitface : The Autumn EP (2009)
Splitface : The Face in a Crowd (2008)
Splitface + June16th : Raydeeohh (2008)
Splitface aims to unearth the obscure, to shed light on the unique. “When I dig for records, I look for stuff I’ve never heard and album covers I’ve never seen,” says the Seattle by way of St. Louis producer. Specializing in moody, atmospheric, down-tempo ambient and hip hop, his music has been celebrated in the Midwest and around the country. NPR.org selected his track “Calm After The Storm” -- a collaboration with beat maker June 16th -- as its Song of the Day, praising its “eerily mellow vibe.” Atlanta’s Creative Loafing called their CD Raydeeohh, “the perfect apocalyptic, escapist summer album for anyone who never wants to hear another Chris Brown song again.” Another critic praised the “UK-inflected instrumental grooves” of Splitface’s latest solo work, late-2009’s The Autumn EP. Anticipation is high for his next full-length, which is due later this year." Wagner via Crank it!
