Hey Cloud! This is Spire aka Jake Perrine, and I have been making electronic music since 1984, and I finally started to also DJ other people's music in 2005. There are currently three albums of my original music available (as donation-ware) on my website, http://www.djsprie.com. The sound is predominantly mid- and down-tempo, but it also ranges from ambient to trance to pop and at all stops in-between. I love to remix, and have remixed artists as diverse as Zero-One, Orbit Service and Sir Mix-a-lot. My DJ sets of late are often electro-house and / or mashups, but I will never give up my love of a good sexy, groovy down-tempo / ambient set.

I should also mention that part of my day-job is as a mastering engineer for RFI/CD, which is one of the finest mastering houses here in Seattle. I have mastered hundreds of albums by artists all over the world, of all genres (classical, jazz, even spoken word and eskimo!) but electronica is my specialty.
