Born in Lisbon, Pedro Vasconcelos studied Spanish guitar and music theory from a young age.
After experimenting with bass and electric guitar in several garage bands, Pedro found his true calling with the discovery of electronic music in 1997 and he hasn’t looked back since. He dj’ed for some years, before he built a studio in 2002 and the Spikers project was born.
Blending elements of techno, minimal and electro influences with strong bass-grooves, intelligent musicality and top production work, Spikers will no doubt be a hit around the globe with tracks already out on Open Records, Drag’n’Drop, Plusquam and Soultribe, being supported by names as Chloe Harris, Rene Amesz, George Delkos, Fog, S.Q.L., A. Balter, La Baaz...
The side-b of his first EP “Venomfang” got up to #31 on Djdownload’s top100 and lately his remix of Corejoy’s “Green Lake” got even further, reaching #1 on Trackitdown.com minimal top100! It was also featured on Rene Amesz December08 Top10, and on Trackitdown’s annual Top20!

Still hot are his last two works, appearing on the v.a. “Kinky Beats Lollipop edition” cd out on Plusquam, and “Deep Electric Hipnosis” cd on Soultribe, along names like Antix, Astronivo, Duca, La Baaz, Khainz, Brisker & Magitman etc.
Currently both his Live Act and Dj sets are rocking the dance floors with massive impact and acceptance. He has recently played in clubs like Op’art, Gare (Porto), Club del Rio (Viana), Bazaar, Souk…and lately, Reaktor and Stairs Club in Swiss ground.
