SPENZA is a real kid of the 80s and at that time same as today follows a self-made path reaching from experimental use of early Casio synthesizers or controversial DJ-appearances to complex patterns. After his first vinyl release appeared the likes of Sven Väth or Thomas Schumacher incorporated SPENZA’s tracks in their mixes…starting more than a decade ago! The turn of the millennium opened new doors for the creative mind: Far away from dance floor use he created his own taste of downbeat, trip-hop, classic and visual design - at the same time put all in question and transferred his material into a future era. SPENZA had always been fascinated by contradictory elements such as man vs. machine or emotion vs. ratio and over the last years he retired from the world and the only public notice was a series of lunatic visual arts which earned international awards. Within this period he managed to canalize and direct his creative power resulting in highly energetic, never-heard-before-driving, versatile and still melodic and airy compositions. “First and foremost music is related to amusement and if it furthermore leads you to another dimension where extremes attract or cancel out each other – it’s perfect!” With these balanced conditions comes the pleasure of celebrating the nights apart from conventional genres and establishments…listen and let go!
